Become a GoPro dealer

Racetech is the authorised NZ distributor for GoPro for the following markets: motorsport, automotive, marine, broadcast video, military, security/emergency and golf. If your retail outlet falls into one of these categories and you are passionate about GoPro products, we would like to hear from you. Please note, you must have a physical retail store to become a GoPro reseller. Download a dealer application form here


NOTE: Racetech will not support warranty claims on GoPro products purchased from sellers outside New Zealand, or those outside our dealer network. In the first instance please contact the store where you purchased the GoPro item. 

The below process is required to be undertaken for all warranty claims:

  1. The customer is to contact GoPro through either the call centre on 0800 995 072 or via the online customer service centre and log their issue. GoPro will respond with helpful tips and procedures. 
  2. In the event that the GoPro representative cannot resolve the issue or the representative has confirmed there may be a fault, then all communication must be printed and recorded with the GoPro CASE Number or if by phone the CASE Number recorded.
  3. If you purchased the item from an authorised GoPro reseller in NZ, please contact them and supply all recorded communication with GoPro and proof of purchase. The reseller will then handle the warranty claim.
  4. If you purchased the item directly from Racetech, please contact us on 04 939-0552 and speak to our technical support member, Nick Kacouris. You will be supplied with a Racetech RA (Return Authority) number and emailed a RA form to fill out. The faulty item (camera, housing, battery & SD card only) is then to be returned to Racetech in a traceable post pack, including completed RA form, receipt of purchase and all communication with GoPro.

Racetech accepts no liability for items which are lost in transit when being returned for warranty purposes, Racetech reserves the right to fix or replace items at our discretion. Returns can take up to 14 days from receipt to be processed.
