Racetech is an authorised Lifeline dealer and servicing agent.
All Lifeline systems and hand held fire extinguishers must be returned to Lifeline or one of its agents every two years for a service.
We cannot service any Lifeline system or extinguisher which is more than ten years old, regardless of service history.
If you wish to return your system for service or refill to Racetech please ensure you send the cylinder back on a tracked courier and enclose your contact details. We will then contact you once the work has been carried out for payment details. This service usually takes about 48 hours but can take longer in the busier times of the year.
CHECKS BEFORE THE START OF A NEW SEASON:
Lifeline has taken the greatest possible care in designing and manufacturing your fire suppression system. To ensure that you get the best possible performance from your Zero 2000 or Zero 360 system, the following checks and maintenance procedures should be carried out before the vehicle is used.
Pressurised Systems - Regularly check the pressure gauge indication is in the green sector.
Your extinguisher will be rejected from scrutineering if:
- The gauge reads in the Red sectors, or the piston indicator does not protrude from the end cap (remote charge piston systems)
- The tamper proof labels are not intact
- The contents are below the specified weight
- The extinguisher label is worn, illegible or illegally modified
- The extinguisher is not within service date
- The system is in poor condition.
